  1. 1. Regarding that tricky first turn, she was moving around sniffing everything and seemed to be trying to pull me up the hill to the walkway for a bit. I just stopped and let her do her sniffing without moving forward and then when she got on the right turn I went with her right away. In hindsight, I wouldn't have put the turn there and would have made the turn a little before that I guess.
    2. I ran the tracks one after another with just a short play and water break in between. The middle school right down the street lets out at 2 pm and I didn't know if kids would be coming to that field to play so I didn't want to stick around much past that time.
    3. In the maps, track#1 was the one on the far left, then #2 was the next one and #3 was one to the far right.
    4. I did a small food drop about every 3 steps. No scuffing. I have a short stride so usually don't scuff anything because I figure my short stride is close to someone else's scuff.
    5. I needed to tell her to down each time. We have worked on that tonight some.

  2. Anne - good job girl, you're killing it with your comments. Carolyn - nice summation and response to Anne's comments. #5 articles need work AWAY from the track. As requested in previous comments, play those games and video them with your phone propped up on the hearth, the couch, the ottoman, etc. Her down should be automatic by now.

    1. and....Carolyn is there any reason for the super short second leg on these tracks? does she need the article within 30 yards to make a turn? is it just lack of space?
